How fees work
What you pay depends on how you pay. Each answer is here in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first visit.
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans for physical therapy visits and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company. Classes are paid for separately and are not billed to a plan.
Most PPO plans
Medicare
Medicaid
Workers' compensation
Auto injury coverage
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, you pay for each physical therapy visit on the day. We tell you the fee before you book, and we do not bill your plan.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit: what we expect each visit to cost and what it includes. You have a right to this under federal law. If a bill comes out $400 or more above your estimate, you can dispute it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what they find, before your first visit. Your plan has the final say on what it pays. Your copay, deductible and coinsurance are set by your plan.
What the first visit includes
Your first visit is about an hour with a physical therapist. They listen, examine you, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you. They also explain the risks and the choices.
Kept apart
Visits and membership, side by side
A physical therapy visit and a class membership are billed on their own. Pick a tab to see how each works.

Refund: what we refund is written down before you join

Questions about paying
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill many kinds of plans for physical therapy visits, including most PPO plans, Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation and auto injury coverage. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first visit.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay for each visit on the day. If your plan may reimburse you, we give you a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
Are classes covered by my plan?
No. Classes are paid for separately, and we do not bill your plan for them.
Want to know what you would pay?
Call the front desk with your plan card, or ask for a written estimate.
